Retro Commissioning is the process of commissioning systems or buildings that
were not correctly commissioned when the systems were first built. This is
quite common. Customers often assume that all systems are tested for proper
operation and balanced as part of the original build which rarely happens
unless specified. This process can often identify simple, low cost adjustments
or changes that can dramatically improve performance. If you're a building
owner or operator and are not sure if you systems were commissioned when built,
they probably weren't.
